World Energy Efficiency Day

Enginuity Power Solutions emphasises that focussing on energy efficiency can help achieve 40% of the emission reductions needed by 2050, benefiting both the environment and economically by reducing waste and costs.

Every year energy consumers and producers celebrate and promote World Energy Efficiency Day. At Enginuity Power Solutions, every day is energy efficiency day. Energy efficiency is the cornerstone of our business and what we do.

40% of the emission reduction required to reach our national goals by 2050 for net zero can be achieved through energy efficiency alone. For this reason we’re working across different sectors within different industries to promote energy efficiency.

The ESG professionals we work with are looking to integrate efficient energy practices into their organisations and we’re deeply committed to helping them.

The benefits for employing energy efficiency strategies are multifaceted. There’s the obvious environmental benefits, but then there is a significant monetary benefit there as well, because we don’t pay for the energy we don’t consume. Furthermore, by reducing waste we free up capacity in our electrical networks which allows for future expansion across industries. There will be no need to employ strategies to offset inefficient practices.

Here’s a simple model to help illustrate the point further. If your car was leaking fuel would you find a more energy efficient fuel to leak or would you try and stop the leak? We help our clients stop the leak, find better practices, optimise their processes and overall use less energy because the cleanest, greenest and safest energy is the energy we don’t use.

So let’s all do what we can to become more efficient for a cleaner, greener, more energy efficient future.
